The parking lot is FINALLY paved!

Aerial view taken after the foundation footings have been poured, and the reinforcement rebar is in place. Everything is ready for the pouring of the slab - you can see that they've started pouring the slab on the left.

November 14, 2007:

First, a view from the Chancel end of the sanctuary, The wooden cabinet on stilts appears to be a place to put the building plans to protect them from the weather.

This is the utility closet area. All of the electrical and other utilities come into the building here, then go out to the rest of the building.

December 7, 2007:

Cliff Ball took this one on Friday morning as the Sierra View crew was installing the first of the roof trusses at the front end of the sanctuary:

Friday 12/7/07 in the afternoon: most of the roof trusses are in place now. The first three pictures below shows the end of the sanctuary from behind the chancel area - it shows the cross made by the windows - this cross will be visible from inside when you are seated in the sanctuary.

The electrical boxes have been installed in the sound booth. The top row on the left will the the light switches for the santuary. The big box (The grey thing you can see between the studs in the center of the picture) will have all of the sound system wires - speakers, audio signals, video, etc. The boxes closer to the floor will be power circuits.
