This bass is my most ambitious
project so far. Here are the specs:
- 6-string neck-through bass
- Neck core is a 5-piece laminate
of shedua, purpleheart, and hard maple
- Single-Cut Body wings will
be black walnut with a front and back layer of .030 black fiber,
with the top and back of 5/16" bookmatched spalted maple
- Black hardware:
- Schaller bridge
- Gotoh miniature tuning machines
- Black dome knobs
- Carey Nordstrand's Dual-Coil

with 1/8" to 3/16" tapered side bindings

with graphite stabilizing bars
- Spalted maple overlay on the
headstock
